NEWSWIRE: September 2025 Pre-Orders

September 3, 2025 · 11 comments

Goodbye summer, and hello autumn! It’s time to start thinking about warmer clothes, shorter days, and heading back to school. On which note…

Yes, we are of course having another of our seasonal sales, and from 5PM this Friday 5th September through to 5PM on the 16th September, you’ll be able to enjoy our back to school sale! With deals across our range of Collector’s Edition products, a whole host of Buy One Get One Free titles (including one or two surprises!), and a clearance sale on our stock of manga and light novels, there’s plenty to tempt you with… and that’s before we get to our daily Flash Sales! That’s right, every day at 5PM (barring the first and final days of the sale) we’ll have a new, limited time, 24-hour deal for you, with a mixture of great bargains and some last opportunities to buy Collector’s Edition products before they disappear for good!

We can’t wait to see what you pick up in the sale, so we’ll see you this Friday!

Now, with all of that out of the way, let’s see what we can do to tempt you… you want to know what you’ll be able to pre-order this September, right? Allow us to provide, because this is a month of new titles you won’t want to miss, guaranteed!

Komada: A Whisky Family Collector’s Edition

Our month begins with almost unquestionably the most Scottish thing we’ve ever released… an anime movie about making whisky! Some of you may have caught this at various special screenings or festivals, but this month you’ll finally be able to own Komada to watch in the comfort of your own home (alcohol optional).

“Kotaro, a novice editor for a web news, visits Komada Distillery for a project on Japanese craft whisky. Led by a young female president Rui who recently took over the family business, the distillery works hard to reproduce its signature whisky KOMA they had to stop making years ago. KOMA was a brand that Rui’s family had lovingly preserved and a symbol of happiness for all. However, not to mention financial backing, too many clues are missing to revive the whisky once lost. Rui, Kotaro, and the distillery supporters pull together every thread to bring back the whisky filled with family memories.”

Our Collector’s Edition release contains series on Blu-ray within an Amaray case. This is, of course, packed within a rigid slipcase, which also includes a set of three art cards, together with an 8-page information booklet in a faux-news magazine article style.

Pre-orders open on 4th September at 5PM, and of course a standard edition is also available if you prefer!

BLEACH Part 9 Blu-ray

After a break for the Back to School sale, we return to our regularly scheduled pre-order programming by offering the final piece to fill your BLEACH Collector’s Edition Set 2 box, as Part 9 comes to Blu-ray.

“The Soul Reapers are in for a tough fight when the Fracciónes combine to form a mysterious and powerful monster called Ayon. As the Soul Reapers fall one by one to Ayon, the Head Captain decides to intervene—but will it be enough? Then, a fresh chapter begins for Ichigo and the Soul Society. But how will they respond when a new enemy declares war on the Soul Reapers, depriving them of their Zanpakuto and turning their powerful weapons against them?”

You know the deal with this by this point – four Blu-ray discs (containing episodes 224-251), plus exclusive to our first print run we have a set of three art cards. All of this comes contained in an Amaray case with additional O-card.

After this volume, expect another brief pause for a few months while we finish up and release our third Collector’s Edition box, before we continue through the final volumes to complete your full BLEACH collection!

Carole & Tuesday Collector’s Edition Blu-ray

Next up is a very exciting one for us (and it should be for you too!) – from the very start of our existence, Anime Limited have loved all things relating to Shinichiro Watanabe. From Cowboy Bebop to Terror in Resonance via Space Dandy, and with our recent release of Macross Plus, we’ve enjoyed being able to release this incredible director’s work. We can now add another amazing title to that list, as Carole & Tuesday hits the UK on Blu-ray!

“It’s not easy being an orphaned refugee, especially when you’re not on the planet where you were born, but Carole Stanley still has big ambitions. However, while she dreams of forging a career in music, something isn’t quite right yet. There’s a spark that’s missing. Tuesday Simmons has lived a life of comfort, so no one expects it when the shy young woman suddenly runs off to another city, taking little more than her beloved guitar and a need to perform with her.

When they meet, Tuesday’s spark ignites Carole’s fire, and their musical ambitions begin burning anew. Achieving their dreams will be hard in a world where music is created by AIs, but if they don’t give up, soon all the worlds will know the names CAROLE AND TUESDAY!”

This is one of those Collector’s Edition sets it’s really hard to write about, because every time I look at the packaging I get lost in its beauty for a while… isn’t she glorious?

This complete series collection arrives on three Blu-ray discs, stored within a Digipak presentation, which itself sits inside that beautiful slipcase. Also contained within is a double-sided poster, as well as a whopping 168-page booklet filled with character designs, a Japanese cast round-table talk, episode analysis, a script-writer round table, comments from the show’s music composers, and more interviews with the cast, singers and production team of the series. It’s an incredibly in-depth look into the production of the series that you won’t want to miss!

Of course, we’ll also be releasing the series on Standard Edition Blu-ray at the same time.

DANDADAN Season 1 Collector’s Edition

If you’re anything like us, you’ve been waiting for this one like an impatient cat in front of an empty food bowl… well don’t worry fluffballs, you’re about to eat good!

©Yukinobu Tatsu/SHUEISHA, DANDADAN Production Committee

We’ve been working away on some really fun and exciting concepts for our home video treatment of this anime megahit – so much so that we’ll be making a whole separate blog post to talk you through them all! We’re also still polishing off some final points around the packaging, so we want to show you everything in its final form (as it were).

However, we did want to make sure you have a date in your diary, so we wanted to take this opportunity to confirm our pre-order date for the series in both Collector’s and Standard Edition forms, which will be Thursday 25th September at 5PM.

So, for now, stay tuned to our usual channels for our blog post detailing everything you need to know about our release over the next couple of weeks!

Call of the Night Season 1 Collector’s Edition

While we’re on the topic of things we’re really excited about, our office has some huge fans of Call of the Night in our midst, so we’re very excited to present our Season 1 Collector’s Edition of this gorgeous, fun and heartfelt series!

“After being bitten by the vampire Nazuna while wandering late at night, insomniac student Ko Yamori unhappily learns that he’s NOT becoming a vampire himself. Apparently, if you’re bitten by a vampire that you’re not in love with, you just get a bloodthirsty friend instead of a supernatural blood connection. But being vamped is one of the few things to ever intrigue Ko, so he makes it his goal to fall in love with Nazuna.

Of course, Ko’s friends aren’t thrilled with his new vampiric ambitions, and it’s not even clear if Nazuna will bite on the offer should Ko try to answer the CALL OF THE NIGHT!”

As you might expect and hope we had plenty of great artwork to play with on this one, leading to us adding a set of six double-sided art cards to the release, alongside a 68-page booklet featuring episode breakdowns, character design materials, interviews with the series original creator, the anime’s directors, producer and character designer, and a discussion with the group responsible for the opening theme Creepy Nuts. To wrap things up, we do of course have the series itself across two Blu-ray discs within an Amaray case, with the entire contents housed within a rigid slipcase.

Speaking of that slipcase, this is definitely one of those “I need to show you both sides of this” moments, so enjoy the artwork in all its glory below!

Of course, as always a Standard Edition is also available.

I wish there was a way to buy things, but hold them before shipping so you could buy a few things and ship them together. The daily flash sales are kinda pointless for international customers when shipping is like £25 per order 😞 Also curious, will the Dandadan collector's edition be similar to the GKids one or different? We got the same one here in Australia through Sugoi, but I hadn't bought it yet, wondering if I should wait to see what yours is like 👀

I might have to pick up Carol and Tuesday in advance as a Christmas present for my partner. I'm happy to see Dandadan getting a release so soon, though I probably won't be buying until the series is complete; the same goes for Jujustu Kaisen and any other long-running series. Speaking of which, someone must release a complete Attack on Titan box set...

What on earth is going on with InuYasha? Set 3 was announced in like October of last year so this means it's been a year of silence. Set 1 iirc was released while we were still in COVID lockdown. There's still 4 more seasons and a whole (as yet unlicensed but probably will be) sequel series to go.

Plus the four movies. If I were you I would import the remainder of the series from America. If that is an option for you. As there is no guarantee that they will license & release the four movies, Inuyasha the final act or the sequel series yashahime princess half demon. Plus if they did release all of them. Going by how long it’s taking them to release set 3. You could be waiting years to collect all of it. That’s why I myself imported the entire series from America before it goes out of print.

We're now lined up to release the rest of the series at a faster pace - however, as we're authoring our own discs to ensure that our release looks as good as possible, this is a time-consuming process. One that'll be worth the wait though we're sure!
