ANIME LIMITED / ALL THE ANIME UPDATES
~ If you haven’t already you can add Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad and Samurai Flamenco Part 2 to your collection as both are available now! In case you missed it, you can see a full unboxing of Samurai Flamenco Part 2 HERE. You can watch a trailer for Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad below.
~ In an update on what we mentioned last week, Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 2 on Blu-ray will in fact make it’s release next week! This has come about after the problems had forced it to be pushed were resolved faster than we had anticipated it would be. So if you have pre-ordered this you can (all going well) expect it to arrive at some point within the next week. Stock has been sent to retailers, so it’ll be a question of them being able to fulfil their orders respectively as quickly as the can. We ask for everyone to please allow some flexibility on when you may receive your pre-order of the Blu-ray version.
This includes if you’ve placed an order at our web shop for the Blu-ray version. Stock is being sent to our fulfilment house and they will be fulfilling orders as soon as they have received the stock.
As mentioned last week, the DVD version was unaffected by any of this and will be out as intended next week.
~ Speaking of Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 2, check out the trailer for it below.
~ Also next week sees the arrival of Project Itoh: The Empire of Corpses as a Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD Steelbox set. In case you missed it yesterday you can see a full unboxing of our release HERE. Check out the trailer for it below.
~ Regarding us mentioning the MCM Scotland Comic Con exclusive pre-sales above, there is a specific reason why we are able to offer these at the event this weekend. This is because for a title to be sent to a retailer in time for day of release delivery of stock needs to occur at least two week prior to the date. In this instance, there are some titles that had to be pushed back (see Newswire from last week) as there was a delay in delivery of stock in time for the specified dates. However we want to stress that these will not be available until their corresponding release dates anywhere following the event, including our web shop.
~ As announced last week, until 25th September (this Sunday) you can pre-order our release of Eden of the East TV Series Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray for a special price at our web shop! You can find the details on this special offer HERE. Check out the trailer for the series below.
~ If you’re looking forward to Blood Blockade Battlefront, we have some good news! It’s going to be released slight sooner than we previously mentioned! You can now expect it to arrive on 24th October. Expect this date to be updated on retailer listings shortly.
FUNIMATION TITLES UPDATE
~ Gonna Be The Twin-Tail!! is on track for its 10th October release date. Here’s a glimpse of the final product for you.-
~ There is an update on No-Rin we need to bring you, and an unexpected one at that. Unfortunately this had had to be pushed back once again after we were informed new disc masters were needing to be created for our release, at the request of the licensor. We also want to make it known that this process involves a PAL master for the DVD discs being required. So this will now include PAL formatted DVDs, again at the request of the licensor. This has now resulted in more time being needed to get this sorted. At the moment we’re unable to confirm a new date for this, but at this stage we anticipate it won’t be available until November at the earliest. We will keep you posted on this and very sorry for this late unexpected development.
~ For those of you wondering, no update on High School DxD Season 3 as things stand. As we mentioned before, until we’ve heard back from the BBFC certification process on this, we’re going to refrain from setting a date for this title.
That’s going to wrap up this Newswire for you, but be on the looking for news over the weekend and then we’ll more to tell you about next week. If you’re coming to MCM Scotland this weekend we look forward to seeing you there!
Signing Out~!
Jeremy
