Glasgow, UK October 30, 2013 – Anime Limited are happy to announce the release of Samurai Flamenco for UK anime audiences. Samurai Flamenco is a new series recently launched in Japan and currently simulcasting on Wakanim.co.uk.
Masayoshi Hazama: a man who has become a superhero “by himself” with no superhuman powers or any sort of high-tech conversions, NONE!!
Hidenori Goto: a cop who found out the true identity of “the superhero” by a strange twist of fate and thus constantly gets in trouble thanks to Hazama, the superhero.
This is the story of the birth of a true hero featuring these two young men with a touch of comedy and serious drama, while they come face to face with hardships as they search for the true meaning of becoming a hero of justice in this world! Broadcast on October 10th, 2013, the show is currently running on Japanese television. The release format and dates have yet to be confirmed as the show is still running, but likely they will be announced early in the coming year (2014).
Andrew Partridge, founder and president of Anime Limited says: Being a major fan of Takahiro Omori and his previous works – especially Durarara!! and Baccano – bringing Samurai Flamenco to UK anime audiences alongside Wakanim.co.uk in the form of simulcast has been a huge deal for us. Gaining the licensing rights to distribute the physical release of Samurai Flamenco in the UK means that we can carry on our love for this show with a release it deserves in the coming year’.
