Anime Limited to release Eden of the East TV Series

The news just keeps on coming this week as today we are happy to announce that we’re going to be releasing the TV series of Eden of the East on Blu-ray, but we’re giving it the Anime Limited treatment and producing a premium style box set that will be available in time for Christmas in December.

Eden of the East has had a UK release before, but we were presented with an opportunity to release the series and it was simply something we couldn’t pass up. We’re big fans of not the only the series, but the man who directed the series Kenji Kamiyama (009 Re:Cyborg, Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and be able to add to the legacy of this series in our own special way is something we’re very excited about.

Synopsis: Akira Takizawa wakes up naked outside the White House with no memories. He’s got a gun in one hand, a cell phone in the other, and doesn’t know if he’s a good guy or one of the worst. He doesn’t remember the phone gives him instant access to ten billion yen and a woman who can make his most outlandish requests a reality. He doesn’t recall his connection to the ongoing missile attacks terrorizing the Japanese people. Or the part he played in the sudden disappearance of 20,000 shut-ins. He doesn’t even remember he’s supposed to save Japan and will be murdered if he fails. Whatever it is he’s tangled up in, Takizawa’s definitely in deep – and that’s not even scratching the surface.

We’ll have more details on what to expect  in the coming months, but if you want to get in early with pre-order this you can do so right now at Amazon UK HERE.

That’s all the details we can share for now, but stay tuned as we’ll have lots to tell you about in the coming months!

Signing out~!
