[Unboxing] A Letter To Momo

It’s been a long time since we first announced we would be bringing the film A Letter To Momo to the United Kingdom. Since then it’s been a long wait for our release but one that had been well worth it in our opinion.

A quick reminder that this will be available on Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray/DVD and standard DVD from 2nd May. You can pre-order your copy today from the likes of Amazon, Zavvi and even our own web shop. We can also confirm that HMV branches across the UK will be stocking A Letter To Momo from 2nd May.

WHAT IS ‘A LETTER TO MOMO’ ABOUT?

Synopsis: The last time Momo saw her father, they had a fight. Now all she has left to remember him by is an incomplete letter penned with the words “Dear Momo,” but nothing more. Moving with her mother to the remote Japanese island of Shio, Momo soon discovers three Yokai living in her attic, a trio of mischievous spirit creatures that only she can see and who create mayhem in the tiny seaside community as she tries desperately to keep them hidden. But these funny monsters have a serious side and may hold the key to helping Momo discover what her father had been trying to tell her.

WHAT’S INSIDE? WHAT’S ON THE DISCS?

Our Limited Collector’s Edition release comes packed in a rigid case, and around that an o-card. Inside the rigid case you’ll find a digipack containing two discs, the DVD disc and the Blu-ray disc. In addition to that there’s also a 36 page booklet, packed full of information about the film. The booklet includes a very detailed interview with the director Hiroyuki Oikiyura that spans a very large portion of the booklet itself, cast and staff profiles, production notes and a gallery section.

The content on the discs themselves is identical. You get the main feature with both the English language dub and original Japanese audio with subtitles but in addition to that also included on the discs is

• The Making of A Letter to Momo featurette. (Duration: approx 38 minutes)
• Digital Art Gallery
• Animation Test Clips
• Trailers and commercials.
