Yes, it’s the time again… time to ask yourself “where has the year gone?” as we barrel towards the end of it, sure, but also – more importantly – time to prepare yourselves for the annual extravaganza that is our AllTheAnime.com 12 Days of Christmas Sale!
A lot of you have been asking what we have in store for you, so we’re hear to break it down for you to know what to expect once our sale launches at 5PM on Monday, 1st December, and runs until 5PM on Saturday, 13th December! We hope you’ve written your letter to Santa to let him know what you want…

As a starting point, let’s talk about our broad aims for this year – in short, one thing that we’ve been hearing a lot is that at this expensive time what you’re really looking for is the best possible deals on the anime you love, and so rather than focusing on bringing you any new titles or scouring for the remaining stock of titles as we have in previous years, our focus this time around is purely and simply around bringing you the best possible prices on practically everything in our catalogue for you. So, if you’ve been waiting all year for a deal on a title you’ve had your eye on, this is your time!
More broadly however, this is how we’ll be breaking down our deals for the Christmas sale period:
Mystery boxes
It wouldn’t be a Christmas sale without our renowned mystery boxes, and these will of course return to be the highlight of Day 1 of the sale, launching at 5PM on the 1st.
This year, we’ll be offering a total of five different mystery boxes to choose from, each of which will feature five Collector’s Edition Blu-ray products.
- Two of the mystery boxes will be TV-series based
- Two of the mystery boxes will be entirely film-based
- One lower-cost mystery box will be filled with last chance “clearance” stock at a lower than usual mystery box price, giving you even more value for money!
Each variant of mystery box will contain the same titles in each unit purchased, and all are strictly limited in stock, so buy early to avoid disappointment!
Flash sales
Another returning and popular strand of this year’s sale will be our flash deals – every day from December 2nd at 5PM, we’ll be running a new, 24-hour limited discount deal on a product or products for one day only, offering you a rare opportunity to own some great anime at prices that would normally be impossible!

Buy One Get One Free
Of course, we know this is perhaps the most popular aspect of all of our sales now, so our Buy One Get One Free offers return this Christmas offering you an amazing opportunity to grow your anime collection via our range of Standard Edition Blu-ray titles. We’ll be offering up a wealth of TV and film anime here, to fill your every anime desire!
In addition to this, we will of course be running a Gundam Buy One Get One Free campaign for those of you looking for a mech-filled Christmas, plus we’ll have a special Shonen Buy One Get One Free offer to celebrate a year in which we’ve been spending time in the company of some of your favourite anime heroes and heroines!

Sure hope some deals overlap. Being a non UK buyer I have to buy in one hit, otherwise postage gets too large for the land of exhiles, Australia. I doubt you offer some way of buying and then combining (a local store in Australia did that for sales, decided they would hold for 2 weeks so they could combine all orders).

Is there any chance at all of you guys coming to a licensing agreement with Crunchyroll to licence all 3 seasons of Laid-Back Camp + the film for bluray release in the US/UK? It has been approx 7 years since season 1 aired, 5 years since season 2 and the film released and 2 years since season 3 aired but to date, there hasn't been any word at all on a home video release for Western fans of the series :(.
