Well here we are again, on the cusp of another month, and indeed the second half of the year! There’s a lot still to enjoy from our 2023, not least the release of the Annecy award-winning The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes hitting UK cinemas on July 14th, so before we continue make sure you’ve booked your tickets to see this gorgeous and emotional film!

With that done and secured, let’s talk about what we have coming in the month of July in this month’s newswire.. or, as you all seem to call it, the “isthereGundamthismonthwire”.

July pre-orders

Alright, here we go… It’s. Time. For. Gundam. And other fantastic new pre-orders too, of course!

One Piece Film: Red

Pre-orders for our incredible 4K UHD+Blu-ray Collector’s Edition of the record-breaking One Piece Film: Red are already available, but our Early Bird for this AllTheAnime.com exclusive continues throughout the month of July so there’s still time to pick it up at an incredible price!

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is ANI0831_OnePieceRed_4Kcollector-3D-topview-1024x1024.png

However, if you’ve been waiting to pre-order the standard editions of the film on Blu-ray or DVD, these will now be opening on both our own store and across all of your favourite retailers on July 6th – look out for an extra special edition of the Standard Edition Blu-ray exclusive to one particular retailer too!

So, whatever your choice of format or edition, and as much as we’d heartily recommend picking up your first chance to see Luffy and company in 4K HDR, July is the most exciting month to be a One Piece fan!

Spy x Family Original Soundtrack

It’s been one of our favourite anime series of recent years, and with a film and more on the way we simply can’t get enough of Spy x Family! Of course, a big part of what makes the show so enjoyable is its soundtrack, and following on from its digital release you’ll soon be able to own and enjoy the full Season 1 soundtrack on vinyl record!

You know the deal with our Deluxe Edition vinyl releases at this point, but that doesn’t make this one any less eye-catching, consisting of a rigid slipcase featuring a piece of super-cool artwork, within which you’ll find a set of four art prints, together with two vinyl gatefold sleeves to hold the four vinyl records upon which the entire soundtrack is imprinted.

While a Standard Edition vinyl release will follow in the future, this Deluxe Edition will be the only way to own the soundtrack in its entirety on vinyl, so don’t miss out and make sure you grab your copy!

Love Live! Superstar!! Season 1

Of all the franchises we handle here at Anime Limited, you won’t find more colourful fun than Love Live, and for July we return for another iteration of school idol shenanigans as we bring the first season Love Live! Superstar!! to Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. Let’s see what we’ve concocted for this one.

Our journey to stardom begins with a rigid slipcase showcasing some of the stunning artwork for the series, within which you’ll find an Amaray sporting even more art while also holding the two Blu-ray discs.

The full extent of the art is provided via a series of seven art cards featuring the main cast in their most comfortable environs, while you can learn more about them via the twelve-page booklet filled with profiles, interviews and artwork.

Don’t miss your audition, and secure your copy when pre-orders open!

Product: Love Live! Superstar!! Season 1 Collector’s Edition
Release date:
21st August 2023
SRP: £69.99
Pre-orders open: Thursday 20th July

Gundam Build Fighters

Did we save the best until last? You be the judge… you’ve been asking for it, and now it’s time for more Mobile Suit Gundam on Blu-ray! What a fun way to be reunited with our favourite mech franchise too, as we get meta with a Gundam series about building Gunpla…

We’re still polishing off our precise release contents for this title, but if you’re a long-standing buyer of our Gundam Collector’s Editions then you know the drill – the series will be split into two parts, with Part 1 featuring the first half of the series on Blu-ray (across two discs) within an Amaray, stored within the rigid slipcase you see above which will also include space to house part 2 (which you can expect to consist of another two Blu-ray discs in an Amaray case, bundled together with a booklet – more on that over the coming months).

No need to fight, we have a copy for everyone, but be sure to pre-order at the end of the month!

Release date:
18th September 2023

If Utena made it to the UK, I'm sure Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei will get here eventually. Yes... surely...
