AllTheAnime.com Exclusive Full Metal Panic Blu-ray set arrives in March

It was back in December of 2015 that we brought the classic series Full Metal Panic to the UK & Ireland for first-time on Blu-ray in a now officially out-of-print Ultimate Edition release that collected all three seasons of the series along with an exclusive hardback artbook showcasing lots of art from the franchise.

On 6th March 2017 we will be releasing standard edition Blu-rays of the first season and ‘The Second Raid’ season of Full Metal Panic. (Full Metal Panic Fumoffu will be getting a standard Blu-ray release at a later date.)

But as the Ultimate Edition is out-of-print and it’s been over a year since it’s release, today we are announcing a special collection of all three seasons of the series that is exclusive to our AllTheAnime.com web shop and strictly limited to 300 units.

Before we tell you about this AllTheAnime.com exclusive set, for those not aware here’s a quick introduction to Full Metal Panic.

ABOUT FULL METAL PANIC

Synopsis for first season: “Kaname Chidori’s one of the most popular girls at her high school – unfortunately, it’s her growing popularity off campus she should be worrying about. Unbeknownst to Kaname, terrorists are plotting her abduction, believing she possesses the rare and coveted abilities of “the Whispered.”

 

Now onto our AllTheAnime.com exclusive collection. This set will feature all three seasons of the series – Season 1, Fumoffu and The Second Raid – and will be collected in a Limited Edition Art Box to house them. You can check out the visual below. (You can click on the picture to enlarge it.)

F.A.Q on our AllTheAnime.com Exclusive Full Metal Panic Collection Set

— Does this set come within anything extra?
Aside from the box to house all three amaray cases, no. This is literally all three of the upcoming individual releases of each season packed inside a box that’s exclusive to our web shop.

The on-disc content is exactly the same as was presented on the discs for the Ultimate Edition – which in turn are the same discs being used for each of the individual season sets.

— How big is the box?
Each season is contained in its own amaray case. So the box is big enough to store all 3 cases.

— Will this be available to purchase anywhere else?
Excluding any events that we exhibit at, no. This set – limited to 300 units total – is exclusive to AllTheAnime.com only.

— Why are you releasing this now?
The primary reason being that we are now officially sold out of the Ultimate Edition set we released back in December 2015, which has until now has been the only way to own any season of Full Metal Panic on Blu-ray in the United Kingdom and Ireland. (Keep in mind, unlike when we released our now out-of-print Ultimate Edition of Gurren Lagann there was also released a standard edition Blu-ray of the TV series available at the same time. But the Ultimate Edition of Full Metal Panic was the only way to own all three seasons in the UK on Blu-ray.)

There are no more units of the Ultimate Edition, so it’s literally a case of if you see it listed on a website elsewhere or in a shop, then that’s one of the last remaining units out in the wild. Because of the scarcity of Ultimate Edition set, we announced a few weeks ago we would be bringing each season individually on Blu-ray.

But we thought we could do something a little extra, in terms of a complete style collection, and the best way to accomplish that was to make an exclusive product to our web shop.

— What’s the regular price of this AllTheAnime.com exclusive set?
The regular price if £49.99. But for the period of our early-bird pre-order you can order it for £39.99.

— Once the 300 units are gone, will there be any reprinting of this?
No. once the 300 units have been sold they are gone for good.
