Hello there, and Happy New Year! A new year means lots of exciting planning and looking forward to what 2025 has in store here at Anime Limited – and boy do we have plenty to talk about throughout the year – but let’s start small… while last month we talked you through some of our initial pre-order plans for January we did leave some gaps, and now is the time to fill them… and how! We don’t mean to blow our own trumpet*, but you won’t want to miss them.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 1 Standard Edition Blu-ray
To start out, we already announced this one back in December, but no harm in reminding you that Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is on its way to the UK on Blu-ray!

Tekkonkinkreet Collector’s Edition Blu-ray/DVD
Next on the docket is the return to the UK of one incredible film, finally provided with the Collector’s Edition treatment that it deserves – TEKKONKINKREET. Based on a manga by the inimitable Taiyo Matsumoto (Ping Pong), directed by Michael Arias with music by English electronic music act Plaid, this film is a true sensation for the mind and senses.

Blue Giant Collector’s Edition Blu-ray
Now, here’s one you’ve been asking us about for some time now, ever since its theatrical release last year which so many of you absolutely adored. Now, at least, we can reveal our plans for Blue Giant on Blu-ray, and we couldn’t be more excited!
As a starting point, you might notice something a little different about the slipcase size for this one – given the musical heritage of this film, we wanted to shake things up slightly, so while this Collector’s Edition release is the same height as a typical set, your eyes do not deceive you, and this slipcase is indeed wider. This gives it the same square dimensions as a vinyl record, but with a smaller size footprint – think of it as like a mini-vinyl set… only with a Blu-ray inside.
It’s not just a Blu-ray disc inside that striking case however – we’ve also crafted an exclusive A3 “gig” poster, added in a sticker sheet to make the use of some of the fun logos and iconography the movie has to offer, and every single unit will also contain a serialised, numbered art card.
All this, and we haven’t even gotten to the gorgeous 64-page booklet yet – it’s another good reason for the special dimensions of this release, allowing us to cram it full of content. As well as a whole set of character designs, we have interviews across the film’s production crew, including the director, producer, music producer, colour and art team and the gig scene specific directors. It’s a great insight into the production of a story that’s challenging to translate to the big screen, and will give you a whole new appreciation on how it was possible.

BLEACH Part 4 Blu-ray
Before we leave you, we can quickly confirm that our next volume of the original BLEACH will be landing in the UK this March, with pre-orders opening at the start of February, as you continue in your quest to fill that gorgeous first Collector’s Edition box!
This latest volume of the series contains episodes 84-111 across its four discs, contained within an Amaray case with O-card. As per previous volumes, our first print run contains an exclusive set of three art cards inside!
