It’s been a long time coming but we’re just days away from the release of our Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Part 1 Blu-ray release! Today we’re very happy to be able to bring you a full unboxing of what to expect from this release. Read on below for the details.
WHERE CAN I BUY IT?
This title is not limited to any one retailer, though the first-print edition is limited to 1000 units across all retailers. However it should be noted that this is the only version that can be bought on day of release.
ABOUT GUNDAM ZZ
Synopsis: A direct sequel to Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, set in the aftermath of the Gryps Conflict.
It is the year 0088 of the Universal Century. The badly damaged assault cruiser Argama docks at the run-down space colony of ShangriLa for much-needed repairs. While the Argama is in drydock, a young junk dealer named Judau Ashta sneaks aboard in an attempt to steal the Zeta Gundam. He wants to sell it in order to help his sister, but instead he finds himself coerced into joining the Argama’s crew. Unfortunately for Judau, the Argama is being pursued by a dedicated Neo Zeon officer named Mashymre Cello.
In order to protect both his sister and himself, Judau must master the Argama’s newest mobile suit, the ZZ Gundam.
WHAT’S INSIDE? WHAT’S ON THE DISCS?
In keeping with our tradition of the building a Gundam Collection, the first 1000 units – not limited to any one retailer – will have the amaray case storing the three Blu-ray discs come inside a Limited Edition art box that will store both halves of the series! The art box is strictly while stock lasts. Once out of print an amaray only version will be made available.
On the discs themselves –
- Episodes 1-25 in Japanese with English subtitles. (NOTE: There is no English dub for this series.)
- Extras: Clean Openings, Clean Closing, TV Spots
