Following our announcements of Ping Pong The Animation (SEE HERE) we have more exciting news for you this time stemming from our panel at MCM Manchester Comic Con this past weekend. We’re happy to announce that we (Anime Limited) have launched a partnership with Sunrise to bring Gundam titles the to the UK.

New Release Announcement – MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM on Blu-ray

BD-Box_1Coming to Blu-ray for the first-time ever in the UK will be the series that started it all when it comes to Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam. We will be releasing this over two half-season sets on Blu-ray starting with Mobile Suit Gundam: Part 1 (tentative title) in October and followed by the second part soon after. (Final dates and pricing are TBC at this time.) Our release will include both the English dub and original Japanese audio with subtitles.

In the year Universial Century 0079, humanity lives in space colonies called Sides. Side 3, the Principality of Zeon, has declared war on the Earth Federation. After the intial fighting, an 8-month stalemate occured. However that stalemate breaks when Amuro Ray stumbles into the Gundam, the Earth Federation’s secret weapon. Now Amuro and the crew of White Base must stand up to Zeon in order to end the war.

“I’m very excited to be able to finally bring UK fans the original Mobile Suit Gundam series in its entirety” says Andrew Partridge, president of Anime Limited. “The fact we’re able to bring the series on Blu-ray to these shores is the extra icing on the cake. Being able to see this classic in the highest possible quality is going to be a real treat for everyone. Plus for those who have never experienced the original Mobile Suit Gundam before there will be no more a perfect time to do so than now.”

Aldnoah Zero Is A Good Anime. Si-Fi Mecha Anime Is The Best With Land & Space Battles.
