It’s time for this weeks Newswire! Read on below for the latest updates direct from Anime Limited HQ.

~ First of all have you read last weeks Newswire posted on Friday? If not there was lots of information you will have missed so we encourage you to read that HERE before reading on below for this weeks update. (Last weeks Newswire included updates on Tokyo Ghoul, Mobile Suit Gundam and more.)

– We (finally) released our latest podcast this week! It’s a packed episode that includes all sorts of discussion and has a special guest, Stephanie Sheh. You’ll know her as the voice of Sailor Moon, Nui Harime from Kill la Kill and more, but she is also involved in the English language dub production of Mai Mai Miracle. We’ve had some great feedback on the show so far. You can get the full details on the podcast HERE.

– Speaking of details, on that very podcast we revealed some information relating to a few upcoming titles ours. First of all we can share some details on the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray set of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya. Our set will include a 48 page artbook and 4 Tarot cards. The release itself will comes inside a rigid case and have a digipack to hold the discs, there being two disc total. We will note that these are subject to change as we’re still in the approvals phase, so we can’t share visuals just yet, but as we have mentioned it on the podcast we wanted to make mention of it here as well.

For Full Metal Panic Ultimate Edition, again still in the approvals phase of things so is subject to change, but we’re hoping to be able to include a 76 page art book focusing on the franchise as a whole rather than being a season by season focus.

~ If you’re looking forward to our release of Samurai Flamenco, yesterday on our social media channels we shared the first visual for our release of Part 1: Episodes 1-11.

Samurai Flamenco Part 1 coming to Blu-ray in November
Samurai Flamenco Part 1 coming to Blu-ray in November

It will come packed in a rigid case, have a digipack to hold to the two Blu-ray discs and come with a 20 page booklet. Scheduled for release in November you can pre-order your copy today from the likes of Amazon UK and Zavvi now.

IMG_5434~ For those of you keeping an eye on our social media channels earlier, you will have seen that we have received finished samples (see picture left) of our upcoming Space Dandy Season 2 Collector’s Edition DVD release. You can expect to see a full unboxing of this tomorrow lunchtime.

~ A quick note that today we got word from the production house that due to unforeseen circumstances Sword Art Online II: Part 1 will now be released on 21st September. We apologise for this delay but unfortunately it’s completely out of our hands. As soon as we have more details we’ll be sure to share them with you.
