P3M2ABOUT PERSONA 3 MOVIE #2 MIDSUMMER KNIGHT’S DREAM

Synopsis: “I wish it would stay like this every day…”

Following his transfer to Gekkoukan Private Academy, Makoto Yuki is suddenly attacked by a strange monster called Shadows and is awakened to a power which allowed him to summon a Persona.

Seeing Makoto’s potential, the members of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad approach him to join them in their battle against these creatures. Makoto, initially feeling detached from the situation accepts their invitation indifferently, but as he learned more about the “Dark Hour,” and engaged in many harsh battles, he began feeling a strong bond with his teammates.

And so the season turned from spring to summer… the battle was far from over for the SEES team, now joined by a new member, but they all felt a sense of fulfilment even as they faced these abnormal circumstances.

The wheels of fate began to turn… as they were about to learn of the new trials they must face.

You can watch the trailer for this film below –

Our Limited Collector’s Edition set will come packed with a rigid case and inside that will be a digipack to hold the two discs (1 x Blu-ray + 1 x DVD) along with a 36-page booklet.

Each disc itself contains the film, Persona 3: Movie #2 Midsummer Knight’s Dream. There is also a collection of trailers for both Movie 1 & 2 included on the discs as well.

As was the case with Part 1 and for all of the Persona 3 films, we want to reiterate that there is no English language audio for any of the Persona 3 films – no English dub was created – so each of these films including Movie #2 Midsummer Knight’s Dream are in Japanese with English subtitles only.

Inside the booklet are character profiles, Art settings from art boards and key animation, some preview images of the second Persona 3 movie, cast comments and the next instalment of the  ‘special Persona 3 Movie Edition of ‘Tartarus Theatre’ – 4-panel comic. If that wasn’t enough following on from the interview featured in the booklet of our Movie #1 release, there’s a roundtable discussion interview with Jun Kumagai (Screenplay), Tomohisa Taguchi (Series Director, Persona 3 Movie 2 director) and Kazunori Adachi (Producer) focusing on this second Persona3 movie.

I got mine yesterday from you. Such an amazing boxset, I regret picking up the first movie in DVD form and not going for the collectors edition. I hope you license Persona 4 The Golden Animation. It reminds me, and a lot of people of New Game+ Yu Narukami. Especially his overpowered Izanagi in the battle during the closing stages of Episode 1. Don't let the lack of dub prevent you from licensing, its pretty damn awesome. You get more Marie too.
