After a week off due to it being a very busy week at Anime Limited HQ we are back with a double packed edition of our Newswire! Bringing you up to speed on all-things Anime Limited.

ANIME LIMITED UPDATES

First of all a reminder that our next release is the film Fusé: Memoirs of the Hunter Girl on Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray/DVD and on Standard edition DVD from 7th March, just a few weeks week away. Today we can give you a glimpse of the finished standard DVD edition.

~ Speaking of glimpses of upcoming releases, this past week on our social media channels we revealed the visuals for our upcoming releases of Sword Art Online II: Part 3 and Tokyo ESP. Let’s look at SAO II: Part 3 to begin with. (You can click on the image below to enlarge it.)

Following the the style of our Sword Art Online II Parts 1 & 2 Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray/DVD sets, Part 3 comes packed in a rigid case and inside that will be a digipack holding the DVD and Blu-ray discs. Also included is a 52 page booklet that features background information relating to the series along with two interviews. The first with a representative if Genco Inc. in Japan, who deals with Japanese merchandise of Sword Art Online, including a Kirito themed “Snuggle Sheet”, yes you did read that right. It’s quite the read. And the second interview is with Dengeki Bunko’s Editor-in-chief and Editor, the publication of the original SAO novels in Japan.

In terms of on-disc content, you get episodes 15-19, encompassing the entire ‘Calubur’ arc and the first two episodes of the concluding ‘Mosther’s Rosario’ arc. As was the case in our previous releases all the episodes are dual language, English and Japanese with subtitles. Extras wise you get the Clean Opening and Ending and the next instalment of the Sword Art Offline special.

~ Next up is our release of the series Tokyo ESP. This past week we revealed what our Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray/DVD release (see image left),

Our release will come packed in a rigid case, with a digipack to hold the 4 discs included, 2 x Blu-ray discs and 2 x DVD discs. Also included is a 36-page booklet that features information on the characters from the series and more.

In terms of on-disc content, the entire series (episodes 1-12) will feature both English and Japanese (with english subtitles) audio options. In addition to this there will be the Clean Opening and Closing title sequences, episode commentaries and Japanese commercials.

REPLACEMENT SCHEME UPDATES

This replacement scheme closes on Thursday 31st March 2016.

The latest round of replacements were sent earlier this week. The next round of confirmation messages will be getting sent early-mid next week. If you have applied for discs since then your application will be processed soon. We appreciate people’s patience with this.

If you’ve yet to apply for discs please follow the steps of filling out the survey AND emailing us your proof of purchase. (Simply doing one of the two steps is not enough.) If you haven’t received a confirmation message within to weeks of applying please email Jeremy on Jeremy@AllTheAnime.com – he’ll get back to you as quickly as we can about this.

Kill la Kill Part 1 [for units purchased at MCM London Comic Con in October 2014 only]

NOTE: This only applies to units purchased at MCM London Comic Con in October 2014. (Following the event the products general retail release was delayed and the error of the English dub being out of sync by 0.4 seconds during one of the episodes was corrected.)

Kill la Kill_fightWe are working to get these out as quickly as possible. The latest wave are being sent tomorrow (Wednesday 28th October) so if you haven’t had yours already you can expect it any day now.

To apply for a replacement we ask that everyone who purchased this at MCM London Comic Con in October 2014 please do the following:

  • Send an email with the subject “KLK1 Replacement – MCM October 2014” to Jeremy@AllTheAnime.com
  • In this email please include:
    – You full name (as it would be written on a parcel being posted to you)
    – You full postal address
    – a photo of your copy of Kill la Kill Part 1.

NOTE: We appreciate that some people may have sent emails to other Anime Limited personnel regarding wanting a replacement, but due to the length of time that has passed we ask that everyone who will have previous enquired about a replacement please send a new message to Jeremy. We apologise for any inconvenience, but this is to ensure we can fulfil these as quickly as possible.
