After a week break today is a what we’re calling double edition edition of the Newswire, bringing you up to speed on all things Anime Limited from the past few weeks. Read on below for all the latest updates.

GENERAL NEWS/NOTES

~ First of all our latest release is the Limited Edition Blu-ray of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya. It contains all ten episodes of the inaugural season, plus a bonus OVA episode, an art booklet and 4 tarot cards. You can see a full preview of our release with our unboxing HERE.

~ Speaking of Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, for those of you waiting patiently for the Standard DVD version of this it will be arriving on 28th December. Today we can give you a glimpse of what the finished product will look like. (You can click on the images below to enlarge them.)

~ Our next release is just a few days away with our Baccano! Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray set! Yes it’s out this Monday! You can expect a full unboxing of this here at our blog before the end of the week. By the way, we published an HD vs. SD comparison of Baccano! earlier this week. Out this Monday

~ A quick reminder that our Limited Edition Blu-ray of Tokyo Ghoul Season 1 is now officially out-of-print. So if you happen to find it in a retailer we strongly urge to pick it up while you can as there are no more. However, if you missed out on the Limited Edition version don’t forget that we are releasing a standard edition Blu-ray of Season 1 from this coming Monday (16th November.)

~ Over the last week some of you eagle eyed people may have noticed a few additions to our upcoming release lineup on some retailer websites. We can confirm we will be releasing the following titles:

  • Noein. Coming to Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.
  • Lords Marksman and Vanadis. Coming to both Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and Standard DVD.

~ Speaking of dates, and more specifically for titles to be released this quarter, we have a few date amendments to make you aware of. Some of you likely already noticed this last week with some retailer listings but we can confirm that both Samurai Flamenco Part 1 and Sword Art Online II: Part 2 are now set for release in December. We’ll have more updates on these including the new confirmed dates for both soon.

However in light of the date shift noted above for Sword Art Online II: Part 2, we can now share with you the confirmed designs for both the Limited Collector’s Edition and Standard DVD releases with the visuals below. Please note the BBFC certificate for this title is still TBC at this time.

~ With regard Sword Art Online II: Part 3 and Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, the dates that had been listed for both were tentative and we can now confirm that both will be coming to the UK in the new year. We’ll have more updates on both these in the coming weeks so please stay tuned for those.

As a note, all of the dates listed above will be summarised in our Release Schedule section at the conclusion of this Newswire.

We have received the stock and are currently getting them all packed up and ready for shipping. You will receive a notification via email as to when it’s been dispatched, but we’re hoping to have every single order for this sent out by the weekend or by early next week at the latest.

REPLACEMENT UPDATE

Durarara!! Limited Edition

durarara_celtyThe latest round of confirmation emails were sent on Wednesday. All going well the next wave of discs will be getting sent by no later than early next week.

Anyone who has applied for replacement discs over the past weeks and has yet to have a response can expect by mid-next week.

If you’ve yet to apply for discs please follow the steps of filling out the survey AND emailing us your proof of purchase. (Simply doing one of the two steps is not enough.) We ask that applicants awaiting for confirmation message please wait a little longer. If you haven’t received a confirmation message within to weeks of applying please email Jeremy on Jeremy@AllTheAnime.com – he’ll get back to you as quickly as we can about this.

If you have questions or concerns about your replacement request please feel free to email Jeremy on Jeremy@AllTheAnime.com. If you have yet to apply for replacement discs please follow all the guidelines HERE.

 

Kill la Kill Part 1 [for units purchased at MCM London Comic Con in October 2014 only]

NOTE: This only applies to units purchased at MCM London Comic Con in October 2014. (Following the event the products general retail release was delayed and the error of the English dub being out of sync by 0.4 seconds during one of the episodes was corrected.)

Kill la Kill_fightWe are working to get these out as quickly as possible. The latest wave are being sent tomorrow (Wednesday 28th October) so if you haven’t had yours already you can expect it any day now.

To apply for a replacement we ask that everyone who purchased this at MCM London Comic Con in October 2014 please do the following:

  • Send an email with the subject “KLK1 Replacement – MCM October 2014” to Jeremy@AllTheAnime.com
  • In this email please include:
    – You full name (as it would be written on a parcel being posted to you)
    – You postal address
    – a photo of your copy of Kill la Kill Part 1.

Due to all of Team Anime Limited being in London for MCM Comic Con from tomorrow through Monday, Jeremy will respond to requests for this, confirming that you replacement request has been logged in, by mid-next week at the latest. Either way you can expect your replacement to sent to you before the end of October.

NOTE: We appreciate that some people may have sent emails to other Anime Limited personnel regarding wanting a replacement, but due to the length of time that has passed we ask that everyone who will have previous enquired about a replacement please send a new message to Jeremy. We apologise for any inconvenience, but this is to ensure we can fulfil these as quickly as possible.

    Sucks that you've artificially delayed the Prisma Illya standard edition on DVD. I get that you want the BD version to sell, but it's not as if BD owners will go for DVD over BD anyway if the price is right. And right after Christmas too, so given that Royal Mail are usually slow over this period because of the Christmas, you'd have to wonder if people will even get this release before 2016.
