We’re super excited (and super busy) ahead of MCM London Comic Con this weekend but we still have time to give you a quicker version of the Newswire ahead of the event. Read on below for the latest update and last minute tidbits ahead of the event below.

MCM LONDON COMIC CON UPDATE

unnamed~ First of all if you’re coming to MCM London Comic Con this weekend, last week we published the massive amount of details about what we have planned for the event. For details on panel times, booth activity, the EU Premiere of Gundam The Origin III and more, CLICK HERE.

~ In an update from the post linked above, the signing time for the Anime Guests of Honour, Mobile Suit Gundam’s Mika Akitaka and Osamu Taniguchi, will be from 14:00-15:30 at the MCM Signing Area. Please note that this is a free signing limited to 1 item per person. There will be some really cool looking signing cards from you to choose from to get signed. If you bring an item with you to get signed please note the guests are there promoting Gundam specifically. if an item you bring is not Gundam related there’s a strong chance they may not sign it.

~ Speaking of Gundam, we can confirm the Gundam Origin III: Dawn of Rebellion EU Premiere screening will be in Japanese with English subtitles. This takes place at 11am in the Platinum Suite on Saturday (28th) with the panel featuring the Anime Guests of Honour, Mika Akitaka and Osamu Taniguchi taking place immediately after

~ We will posting times of when announcements will be made and screenings at our booth we will be taking place later this week.

~ Speaking of screenings at our booth across the weekend, we can confirm on each day we’ll be screening the following:

  • My Hero Academia (Broadcast dubbed version courtesy of FunimationNow)
  • Aldnoah.Zero
  • Rage of Bahamut: Genesis
  • Assassination Classroom
  • Terror In Resonance

Unless otherwise noted above, all screenings will be with English language audio and English subtitles. (Given it might be a bit noisy there, we want to make sure you can understand what’s being said.)

~ We can also confirm we will have the latest Love Live! Sunshine CD from Japan available to purchase at our booth (while stock lasts.)

~ In conjunction with our friends at FunimationNow.uk over the weekend we are giving one lucky attendee the chance to win a deluxe replica of The Dominator gun from Psycho-Pass, The Dominator by Cerevo. See HERE FOR MORE DETAILS and the video below.

It’s very simple to enter. You just need to fill in some details on a tablet being held a brand ambassador who will be by the booth throughout the weekend. Then following the conclusion of the event, one lucky person will be randomly selected from everyone who filled in their details to win this!

~ And don’t forget we’ll be updating our social media channels across the weekend. Though if you’re Facebook we suggest going to THIS event page and marking yourself as ‘Going’ so you can get latest updates as soon as we post them.

ANIME LIMITED UPDATES

~ In case you missed them we’ve published full unboxings for Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 1 Ltd Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and Durarara!! x2 Shou Ltd Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. We also published an unboxing of our Lord Marksman and Vanadis Ltd Collector’s Blu-ray set earlier today HERE.

~ Ahead of MCM we’ve got an update on a couple of titles for you.

  • The DVD version of Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 1 has been delayed. It will now be getting released in late June, new date TBC, but the Ltd Collector’s Edition Blu-ray will be released this Monday (30th May) as planned.
  • Kill la Kill Part 3 standard edition on both Blu-ray and DVD has been pushed back until June 13th June.

We’ll have more updates on both of these next week for you.

~ Please note that our office will be closed from Thursday (26th) – Monday (30th May).

~ Please note that any orders placed at our web shop from now until 31st May won’t be fulfilled until 1st June at the earliest. This is due to the whole Anime Limited team being in London for the MCM London Comic Con event. If you have any queries relating to an order you’ve placed, please email jeremy@alltheanime.com including your order number and I (Jeremy) will get back to you as quickly as I can during this time, though it’s possible you may not get a response until early next week.

And that concludes this edition of the Newswire. As mentioned we’ll be having lots of updates over the weekend on our social media channels so do keep tuned. Next week the Newswire will be a post-MCM London Comic Con edition that will include all the details of what we announced over the weekend.

Signing out~!

Jeremy
