We want to take the opportunity to remind everyone about some important ground rules about attending this screening. So do have a read of the F.A.Q. from our last Newswire HERE.

‘A SILENT VOICE’ IN UK & IRELAND

As mentioned last week, the date for your calendars is Wednesday 15th March. This will be the day you can catch the film in cinemas, though we will add there will be further screening in select cinemas from Friday 17th March.

There is a dedicated website, similar to the one we had for Your Name screenings, that will correlate all the screening locations and times. We’ll share the details of this site once all is finalised and locked in. Expect more news on this within the next week!

We know a lot of you have been patiently waiting for details on this, and today we can confirm that the Sword Art Online Movie will be screening in the UK & Ireland on Wednesday 19th April!

As will be the case for A Silent Voice, there will be a dedicated website that will correlate all screening locations and times for Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale – this should be coming in the next week or so please stay tuned for that.

Also, we want to make a quick note that there’s actually another very good reason to keep an eye on our screenings of Sword Art Online The Movie. We can’t tell you what it is today, but expect this reason to become clear very soon.

~ So with these in mind, here’s how our release slate is currently looking over the next few months.

But before we get to that, I have a few notes I want to highlight about the list below:

NOTE: I want to stress now that when it comes to some titles after March, we are still in the process of locking in a number of dates. We know that some retailers may be listing specific dates for certain titles not mentioned below, but we ask to take those with a grain of salt until we have confirmed them through our own channels – that’s not to say they aren’t final, they could well be. But we don’t want to highlight them here until they’re 100% locked in.

NOTE 2: If you don’t see a title listed below, it’s more than likely it won’t be getting released until after June 2017.  When there are details for those titles, we will say accordingly 🙂

NOTE 3: Please note that for all titles listed below due for release in April onwards that have a Collector’s Edition version, they’re all currently in the approvals process so we’re not able to share details on the design and/or contents. But as soon as we can, we will share those details 🙂

So as you can see, there’s a HECK of a lot on the way over the next few months. There will be a few more titles to slot in and/or add to the above list, but what you see listed is pretty much our complete lineup for Q2 2017.

And now a few additional details for you on a couple of titles in particular –

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Part 2
As is the case with Part 1, the first 1000 units of Part 2 – not exclusive to any one retailer – will come with a special art book that will fit inside the box that comes with Part 1. A reminder that, again as is the case with Part 1, only this Limited version with the art book will be available on day of release. So no matter where you pre-order it, you will receive it.

Zeta Part 2

Selector Infected WIXOSS
This will be coming in April – date to be confirmed – but we can tell you our Blu-ray Limited Collector’s Edition release of this will come in a rigid case, with a digipack to store the discs. Also included will be a 36-page art booklet featuring character information, a special column from a representative of Takara Tomy in Japan talking about developing the game, and two round table interviews. One with the Sound Effect staff and the other with Producers.

You can see a visual for this release below.

WISOXX Ltd Ed

Belladonna of Sadness
This Blu-ray release will be a Collector’s Edition style release. We’re currently in the approvals phase of proceedings for this, but we’re hoping to be able to include a booklet and art cards for our release. We know a large number of you took advantage of the special pre-order offer we had during our 12 Days of Christmas series of offers, so you can expect to receive contact from us directly soon with an update about your order.

Evangelion 1.11
We know it’s been a good few weeks now since we last mentioned where things stand with this. We wanted to wait until we had confirmation on this before posting another update. Unfortunately we are still waiting for the component that was missing from the product to be re-delivered, which is why it has been moved to April. That date listed is more an absolute safety net than anything, as we are actually expecting stock to be completed in March. We’ll be sure to post a new update on this as soon as we more news we can share.

FUNIMATION UPDATES

~ First up, available to add to your collection now is the DVD of Fairy Tail Part 11.

~ Tomorrow (20th February) sees the release of

Yona of the Dawn Part 2 Blu-ray+DVD combi
Show By Rock!! Season 1 Blu-ray+DVD combi

If you’re not familiar with either series, you can watch trailers for both of them below.

~ A quick update on MIkagura School Suite and Brothers Conflict for you.

Unfortunately due a delay in BBFC certification that resulted in the production window for this title being missed, MIkagura School Suite will be getting a few weeks later than intended. The new date being 13th March for general release.

And in an update to what we mentioned last week (SEE HERE) in reference to Brothers Conflict, the now Blu-ray only release of this will now be coming on 6th March. You can watch the trailer for this below.

~ With the above in mind we want to highlight what you expect over the next few months when it comes to Funimation titles –

TBC April

TBC MAY
Attack on Titan: Junior High (Blu-ray, DVD)

As you can see from the list above, there’s lots coming! We do want to make a note in saying this isn’t the complete list. For example, there are Fairy Tail releases to be added into the mix. But this is what we can confirm for you at this time.

When it comes to specifics of what Collector’s Editions will include; these are all currently in the approvals phase of proceedings so once everything is signed off we’ll be able to tell you more.

And that wraps up this Newswire. There’s a lot of detail to digest there but I hope all the information is helpful. But if you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments below or via Facebook or Twitter and I’ll do my best to answer them 🙂

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Signing out~!

Am I correct in your Snow White with the Red Hair "Part 2" being what Funimation are referring to as Snow White with the Red Hair "Season 2"? If that is the case then your current release date of April 24th places it before Funimation's date of the 25th.
